Default Only 2 people Max in a party?

Ok seriously, this needs tweaking.

Having only two people max in a party is bullshit, this really ruined a big part of the game for me.

If i want to play with some friends, yes SOME so more then two, its impossible to do because of this.

If im wrong in this, and you CAN party with more then two people, then just ignore this post, but until now i have not found a way to do so.

Once you get further into the game you can party with more people.

But I agree, would be nice to have atleast 4 even in the first areas. If for nothing more to make more playing buddies

...heh

you get more than two in a party as you progress further in the game, trust me.

Its not like you need 8 people in newb zone to survive anyways.

It goes 2 to 4 to 6 depending on the area you are in.

I heard there was 8 max on further missions? Is that true?

I like how so many people don't actually play the game before judging it.

Trust me, it gets better!

I think it was a good call doing this way. Let's face it, some of the early areas are easy enough as it is (The entire noob area is soloable), they would be a total joke if you could build an 8 man group. If I could put together an 8 man group with my warrior in preseering, we could take out the char army to the north, including the handful of level 10 bosses standing around the doomsday machine, and completely alter the course of history.

Actually, since there's no death penalty, I wonder if a couple of poeple insane enough to hang around preseering long enough to get to lv 10+ could take them out? Since there's no death penalty there, as long as you could just take one of them out on each suicide run, you could feasible thin their numbers enough to eventually take them all out. Anyone ever tried?

Well, they could tweak the monster spawns, have more monsters spawn or harder ones as the party grows, without giveing more experiance than normally.

4 in a party is waaaay more fun than 2... even 3 is waaay better, more people to bounce jokes off

**someone move to suggestions thread ! :P

(/me hopes dev's read there )

Yes, if you are patient this works. The Charr are spread out pretty far on the Northlands Map though, so it would take a long time to get them all. Using a similar method (as a level 8) I took out the groups closest to the respawn point. I would run up and hit one (Long Bow attack for the range) and then tease them back to the respawn point. I had 5 or 6 there at a time and I was able to just keep whittling away at them (and dying many times in the process). The resident Monk-in-training will help you as well, but she won't rez after she dies. Note that you can get some pretty good drops in this area (compared to the rest of Pre-Searing Ascalon).

Me and a buddy took out quite a few of them, at the doomsday devise before getting bored... took us a couple hours to take out the charr around it roaming around.. was fun.. but pretty pointless.

I was level 9 (R/Mo) when I left Pre-Searing for good, and had a go at the North Wall quest with a mate. He charged instantly and the Charr for some reason closed in on me and just start chopping me to death. There was nothing I could do and the bastard just fled.. Result = I died, got ressurrected, he didn't want to have a go anymore.

A level 9,10,11 or 12 probably couldn't take them out singlehandedly, but it all depends on the skills used. Pre-searing skills are not enough that's for sure, or at least they were not for me.
